• Scheduling an appointment: Patients can schedule an appointment by phone or through our online booking system. New patients should arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork and discuss their health history with the acupuncturist.
• Arrival and check-in: Upon arrival, patients should check in with the front desk and let us know if they have any changes in their health or medication since their last visit. Patients should also use the restroom before their appointment to ensure a comfortable treatment experience.
• Treatment: Patients will be escorted to a private treatment room where they will have the opportunity to discuss their health concerns and treatment goals with the acupuncturist. The acupuncturist will then provide a treatment plan, which may include acupuncture, herbal therapy, or dharma therapy, depending on the patient's needs.
• During the treatment: Patients should wear loose, comfortable clothing and relax during the treatment. They should let the acupuncturist know if they experience any discomfort during the treatment.
• After the treatment: Patients should allow themselves time to rest and recuperate after the treatment. They should avoid strenuous exercise or alcohol for a few hours after the treatment and drink plenty of water.
• Follow-up appointments: Patients should schedule their follow-up appointments before leaving the center. The frequency of follow-up appointments will depend on the individual's health needs and treatment plan.
• Payment and insurance: Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, credit cards, and checks. We also accept insurance and can provide a superbill for patients to submit to their insurance provider. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider to verify their coverage before their first visit.
