Dr. Bruce Park, LAc, DACM has been an acupuncturist since 2012, and he practices acupuncture, herbal medicine and mindfulness that inspire his life.
Dr. Park is a dharma teacher and a professor, in that order, which means that he is sharing his spiritual and healing experiences, tending to agree with secularism.
Dr. Park was an ordained Buddhist monk in Korea in 1979 for reasons specific to monastic life. He came to America in 1998 and would prefer an ordinary lifestyle to spiritual activities. So he thought the monastic life in Korea and America had legitimate grievances. Since then he engaged in secular and academic life.
Dr. Park has written books about spirituality, acupuncture and herbal medicine. He teaches Asian traditional medicine and classics at New York College of Health Professions and New York Dharma School. Currently he works for New York College as director of Bellevue site in Manhattan.
Dr. Park has strong points of view on health sciences and spirituality. He lives in New York City with his son and wife.
